Developmental Programs

Program Overview

The 2nd Grade Developmental Program consists of a combination of instructor-led player clinic sessions and a minimum of 8 scrimmage games - primarily 3v3 half court, coach-officiated scrimmage games. No scores or standings are kept, and the goal is to build skills and introduce the kids to the game of basketball in a fun environment!

The 3rd Grade Developmental Program consists of a combination of instructor-led player clinic sessions, 2 scrimmage games, and 8 regular season games. Scoring is kept for the games, but we do not keep division standings.

Player Clinic Sessions

Player clinics are run by a professional trainer hired by the league. The clinics sessions are designed to provide a foundation for each player to begin learning the game of basketball. There will be two player clinics to kick off the season. Coaches are encouraged to assist the trainers during these clinic sessions.

Team Formation

Teams are formed based on the elementary school and/or neighborhood that they attend. Players are assigned to teams by the commissioner at the beginning of the season.
