2025 Tackle Football Coaching Registration Now Open!
Coaching youth football is a big commitment but extremely rewarding. At DYS, we take the responsibility of providing a safe and rewarding football environment very seriously. If you are interested in coaching (head or assistant), please register, below. Once registered, all coaches will need to complete their Background Check and USA Football Tackle Certification prior to the 1st Practice on August 4th. Details will be provided after you register to coach.

Review of our 2025 Coaches Clinics:
DYS Football stresses the importance of Coaching Development to not only help our DYS Football Coaches, but also to continue to provide the best experience for all of our DYS Players and Families. We have developed relationships with our local High School Football Coaching Staffs and have partnered with them to provide Coaching Clinics. These clinics allow our coaches to learn and develop alongside the best High School Coaching Staffs in Loudoun County. Please see below for a recap of our 2025 DYS Football Coaches Clinics. Session 1 - Wednesday, March 19; 8-9:30pm @ Lightridge HS:

Session 3 - Wednesday, April 30; 8-9:30pm @ Independence HS

Session 4 - Wednesday, May 14; 8-9:30pm @ Independence HS
- "Chalk Talk" - Hosted by RJ Windows, Independence HS Varsity Head Coach; the Legendary Mickey Thompson; and the Independence Football Staff
- Washington Commanders Legend, Fred Smoot, and Washington Commanders Assistant Special Teams Coordinator, Brian Schneider, joined us to talk coaching & connecting with players.
